A Silicone Rubber Heater (also known as silicone electric heating film or silicone heating pad) is a flexible electric heating element composed of silicone rubber, high-temperature reinforced fibers, and metal heating circuits. The product is constructed from two layers of fiberglass cloth encapsulated with silicone, with a standard thickness of 1.5 mm, offering excellent flexibility and surface conformity.
The heating element uses nichrome wire or etched nichrome foil as the heat source, molded under high temperature. It can withstand temperatures up to 250°C, resist corrosion, and has high electrical insulation. Power density can reach 5.0 W/cm², supporting custom designs with integrated temperature control devices. Typical lifespan ranges from 3–5 years.
